A downloadable game for Windows

OSHA was defeated 200 years ago in the war.

Safety standards no longer exist in the settled systems, until now. A worker's union on mars successfully revolted against their employer and negotiated lowering the work week from 100 hours to 95. Fearing a similar situation, your employer has tasked you with decreasing the count of hazardous incidents relating to worker accidents per shift.

POST MORTEM:

As per usual with game jams, ambition got the best of us. We're still all really proud of what we have. The original vision for the game after our first brainstorming session was for several puzzles where you need to balance worker safety while making sure quota is reached without hitting overtime. There would have been multiple hazards, many involving the factory production lines. In the end a lot of the systems got implemented, but there just wasn't time to design and build the puzzles with them. This was my second game jam using Godot, the first was for Ludum Dare 57 and I've learned a lot about the engine through the process. This is a project we're really eager to continue, so if you enjoyed the concept keep a look out in the coming weeks for updates!

NO ART, AUDIO, TEXT, OR ANY CREATIVE ASSETS WERE GENERATED BY OR MADE WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF AI. AI assistance was purely used for programming by me, FaerynDev (Fonics), for help with learning the Godot C# API and some complicated issues relating to the FMOD plugin integration, as well as adapting the CRT Shader by Harrison Allen to fit our use case for this jam. The majority of code in the project is hand-written.
