Waste Management

Unfortunately, we over-scoped quite a bit for this project given the 48-hour time constraint. The initial vision was a detective game where you play as the "waste management" specialist that a crime ring calls in to clean up crime scenes before the detectives investigate. You would be both cleaning up the crime scenes and also trying to piece together clues to figure out what your bosses are up to. 

Quite a bit of unfinished code exists for the mechanics, but a lot of it I was unable to get playable in time. There are also three tracks made for the game that didn't make it into the final build unfortunately as I had issues with packaging, credit to https://chipper1.bandcamp.com/ for those. 

We plan on taking a few weeks to finish up the mechanics that were left on the cutting room floor and get the game onto Itch in a completed state.

What is actually playable:

You can load into the player's apartment, and interact with the H icon in the corner of the computer to bring up the level select menu. You can load into level one, and the murder weapon will be randomly placed in the level, and you can pick it up.

Controls - WASD movement, mouse to look around. E to pick up items, Left Click to interact with the computer.
